I got the hand theme of my website from a journaling technique noted in the journal kit "Wide Open". It suggests using your body as a canvas or rather, a journal page. It's an interesting concept, especially for those that struggle with body image as well as those that struggle with a connectedness to their body. My plans are to actually go further with this technique for my website design, making each image at the top of the page more detailed and unique.
I also wanted to give my readers the opportunity to decorate their own hands and send them to me. I would love to have a gallery of your hands!!! If your hand could talk...what would it say? If your hand was a canvas how would you decorate it?
